Richard Phillips replaces retiring chair Charles Bevan at the Winton House Centre. 

He thinks its HIgh Street location, and being a home for a number of community organisations - like Age UK, Homestart Butser, the Community Cafe -  keeps it at the heart of the community.

He spent many years working in the voluntary sector overseas.
