Petersfield’s Climate action network - PeCAN - is to launch a Repair Cafe in the New Year to join the other 28 in Hampshire.
Andrew Lee, who’s running the project, speaks to Mike Waddington about making the plan work, where the movement started and how it can help.
Working with local businesses and other organisations (like the Men's Shed) It's brings advantages for the environment, spreads useful skills, as well as being good value for money.
Andrew says it's also about a change of mindset from a 'throwaway society' and learning from previous generations, and he has a kettle to prove it can be done!
