The annual Steep Lawn Tennis championship reaches it's final stages as the singles and doubles champions are crowned in perfect conditions. As for the women's side, life is about to get really tough as they face Havant and Waterlooville at the Smartspaces stadium. Liss Athletic continue to fight with one hand tied behind their back. After losing 5 key players over the summer and not having their home pitch play worthy, they face a difficult match against Southsea Sports. https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/lissathletic/ . Liphook men's side have had a terrible time of it of late leaking goals and not picking up any points.  Never has the time been better to turn their fortunes around versus Netley and then Portsmouth in the week. https://www.liphookunitedfootballclub.org/ . And finally the Liphook Ladies begin a new life in the 1st division of the Hampshire Counties league. Having stormed their league as champions last season, how will they fare against Basingstoke.

He tells Mike Waddington why he's doing this.
