The Scouts - now boys and girls - were founded in 1907 and a year later, a friend of Lord Baden-Powell set up Petersfield's Troop, making it one of the oldest in the country.
They are being supported by the Mayor this year - he's already been to a camp - and they say they feel honoured to be so.
James Kennard, Group Scout Leader Volunteer, talks to Mike Waddington about what the Scouts offer today; it's all about having fun safely
There is a waiting list of young people wanting to join so James is appealing for adult volunteers to increase their capacity.
They support the community and can set up a barbecue very speedily!
