The ten or so churches in PACT - Petersfield Area Churches Together - held its annual meeting on Wednesday 14 Sept.
They have played an important role in founding and supporting a number of organisations over the years; the Foodbank based at the Methodist Church (who support over 1600 adults and 1100 children) is one and many others, now independent, like Home Start Butser, the Kings Arms, Counselling service, the Christmas Lunch (52 lunches provided on Christmas Day this year), Knit N Natter, all reported on their activities.
Mike Waddington spoke to the incoming chair Rev David Muskett, who is the Minister at the Methodist Church, about their activities and purpose, who said the ‘congregations of different characters’ work together.
