Modern Moffat Play will have you rolling in the aisles!

View descriptionShare

The Winton Players production of TV writer Steven Moffat’s The Unfriend, starts at the Festival Hall on Thursday 23 April until Saturday 25th.

While on holiday Peter and Debbie befriend Elsa: a lusty, Trump-loving widow from Denver, USA. She’s less than woke but kind of wonderful. They agree to stay in touch – because no one ever really does, do they?

Mike Waddington speaks to the very experienced Director Penny Young, and cast members Anne-Lise Kadri, Laura Shephard, Simon Stanley, Geoff Wootton and Dave Joyce.

Daisy Bedford and 13 year old William Holmes play the the family's children.

Its a very modern play, wryly written and very, very funny say them all.

Steven Moffat was lead writer and executive producer of BBC One’s Doctor Who from 2009 to 2017 and co-creator, writer and executive producer of the BBC series Sherlock.
