On Sunday 13 September the March for Men with Kev took place. It's a community walk held in honor of Kevan Birkett, who died from prostate cancer in May 2023.

Participants chose from three routes: 2.5K, 5K, or 10K. 

Mike Waddington and Julie Butler report from the event marshaling point in the Town Square - we hear from participants and why they are walking, from Town Mayor, Councillor Jamie Matthews and others.

On the day before, 309 men took up the  Prostate health tests (PSA) organised by Petersfield Lions and PCaSO.

The march raises awareness and funds for:

• Prostate Cancer UK – supporting research and PSA testing campaigns
• PCaSO (Prostate Cancer Support Organisation) – providing local support for men with prostate cancer
• The Rosemary Foundation – offering hospice-at-home care for those with life-limiting conditions
