Local news for Tuesday 8th October, 2024

Embracing Age have been funded to provide a befriending service for local care home residents, this includes visiting, craft making or sending cards. 

More volunteers are wanted - an hour a week - for visits or writing to people. It's very straight forward.

Young people can volunteer too.

Embracing Age’s Hampshire Area Coordinator Zoe Jones told us about the scheme, how to be involved and tells us about the impact on the residents.
