Mark Simpson has caught up with Fay Boyett, the editor of the Liphook Community Magazine, hand delivered in the first week of March.

Mark Simpson has caught up with Fay Boyett, the editor of the Liphook Community Magazine, hand delivered in the first week of March.

The Spring Edition of the Liphook Community Magazine is on the way

Reined In is a new comedy film by Godalming’s Richard Stride, currently on the Festival Circuit. 

 Richard has hopes it might also be made into a six part comedy series (the Caulfield Chronicles). 

Petersfield’s Town Criers, Faye and Martin Thompson, were invited to play roles in the wedding scenes set at a stables. They told us about the experience.

Richard tells us more about the film, its roots in vintage British comedy, his own roles in Star Wars, and also about happenstance; how moving one way or the other leads on to big developments - or not.

Faye and Martin enjoyed the crowd scenes and you can see a fleeting glimpse in the trailer on YouTube (below)
