Actor and writer Kirris Riviere is bringing a deeply personal story to the Olivier Theatre at Bedales.

In Pieces of My Life, Kirris draws on his own experiences of love, loss and resilience to explore the moments and people that shape us - and what happens when life changes forever.

Pecan, the Final Straw Foundation and the West Sussex Rivers Trust have organised a clean-up of the River Rother tributaries in the town.

16 people are needed on both days, Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September.

There's also a community event outside Waitrose on 19 September to find out more about what's happening and what you can do.

With one week to go, the lively Petersfield Library are still pressing their campaign to encourage children to read six books over the summer - there are prizes.

Manager Stephen Atkinson tells Mike Waddington about it, why it's important, and all the other events and activities they have there (like the heart monitoring hiring scheme) and in the community (like the Dementia Festival.)

They're also preparing for Autumn and being a community hub, right in the middle of Petersfield.
