The developer of a rejected hotel scheme says such decisions put Petersfield high street at risk.

John Bell proposed an 80 bed hotel and cycling complex off The Causeway but the National Park authority turned it down.

John says everyone knows the area needs more accommodation but the planning authority can't decide where, and he believes the future of town centre trade depends on attracting more people into Petersfield.
