Today, Iva Repnytska spoke with Ukrainian Olya and she shared about Kharkiv. A large city in Ukraine, which today suffers from bombs every day.

You saw her in a play at the local theatre in Petersfield. When you meet this young woman, she will often be smiling and full of energy. She likes to dance and draw, plays in the theatre and participates in charity events to support Ukraine in Britain.

Homestart Butser and its 80 volunteers supported 263 families and 365 people in the last year.

They raise all their own funds. 

For one week only -  from 3 to 10 December -  every pound donated to them that week  is doubled by another organisation. 

Put the date in the diary; whatever you donate that week (and that week only) is doubled - making your generosity even more valuable to them.

Homestart’s Nicola Winter spoke to Mike Waddington about  the Big Give Challenge and their work across Petersfield and surrounding areas, to give families facing difficulties practical help.
