Cold Coffee Podcast - Why most refugees struggle with English

Members of Petersfield’s Twinning Association recently welcomed friends from Warendorf, Germany. It was a time to strengthen longstanding ties between the two communities through a programme of friendship, cultural exchange and shared activities.

It’s their 20 year anniversary, Julie Butler and Petersfield Post's Paul Ferguson were there to see the visitors be welcomed to Petersfield

Petersfield Twinning Association welcomes Warendorf visitors

An event on Tuesday 25 August at Petersfield Museum and Art Gallery thanked people who bought an engraved brick.

The audience was treated to a talk by local historian Bill Gosney who enthusiastically told the story of the 15 year quest to build the museum in the Victorian Police Station and Court House from its previous storage location on The Spain.

Chairman of Trustees, Jeremy Mitchell, speaks to Mike Waddington about the importance of campaigns like this and the support it brings. 

He also talks about some of their collections -- like the Don Eades photography collection and some missing wedding photos.

And he reminds us Daniel Day Lewis is a patron of the Museum.

We also hear from two people who bought a brick.
