Another successful summer fete at Downs House and all to support local dementia 

A local mum who created a parent-and-baby group — and a listening ear for other parents — celebrates its first year in Liphook

Hannah Chandler wanted to create a safe, welcoming space where parents could meet, share their experiences, support one another and, importantly, make new friends and build those all-important local connections.

Following a successful first year, Liphook Bumps & Babies, which meets every other week, is celebrating its first anniversary with an informal summer picnic organised by Hannah.

Hannah shares her journey with Jo Gray.

This month it is all about care homes and how to go about finding the right home to meet your needs.

September is also the time to turn Petersfield Blue. So ahead of September 13th Julie speaks to Peter Close about his journey after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. We also find out from Claire Birkett all about March for Men with Kev, in memory of local man Kevan Birkett and the importance to men getting tested.
