Age Concern Petersfield is a local and wholly independent charity providing many services for the people of the town and local areas.
Sheridan Rocher, the Manager, talks to Mike Waddington about those services, which are very well used.
The services they run cost about £25,000 a year more than they charge, so they raise funds to cover the deficit. They will also need a new mini-bus this year (perhaps £40,000) so funds are needed.
Just now they cover the funding gap with bequests people left them in their wills in the past. Sheridan says that leaving something for them in your will is a generous way of helping.
They are also looking for another driver.
