Why WA's disability access is falling behind

Western Australia is one of the few states yet to enrol in a minimum standard for accessibility for the National Construction Code.

This comes after calls for the Federal Government to fund an update of community facilities in Perth, many of which aren’t fit for the state's disabled or aging population.

Independent member for Curtin Kate Chaney told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live the government needs to make community facilities more accessible.
