The kits can identify more than 600 drugs and provide prompt testing which is crucial. 


WA Police Acting Commander, Gordon Fairman told Oly Peterson on Perth Live that ideally people would test as soon as possible, with some drugs being metabolised within 12 hours. 


"48 hours is the top limit for us. Ideally as soon as possible as some of the drugs will be metabolised very quickly" he says.


"If a peron wants to make a report that they believe they've been spiked, any of the 24 hour police stations in the metropolitan area and any police station in the country has access to the kits."
