The long awaited news that school camps are able to resume in Term Two after being cancelled earlier this year is welcomed with open arms by many. 

Graeme Watson owner of Forest Edge Recreation Camp told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live that although the announcement was exciting, he believes it came too late.

"The timing of the announcement wasn't really thought out. Making the announcement in the second week of the school holidays doesn't allow schools time to plan a camp."
