Today Oliver Peterson spoke to former Police Superintendent Dave Parkinson about what our police really have to deal with at a scene of a fatal crash. 

Following on from this, Oliver spoke to RAC General Manager Corporate Affairs Will Golsby about what drivers need to do ahead of the festive season to stay safe on regional roads. He also addressed the road toll figure.

"We're feeling it right across the state.

"We've gone from being, in 1990, the best on road safety, to since 2006 being the worst."
