WA’s reconnection to the world has received another boost with more direct international flights.
Qantas announced that new direct flights from Perth to Johannesburg and Jakarta will be available by November, just in time for Perth airport to gear up for a busy Christmas holiday period.
Perth Live host Oliver Peterson spoke with Kevin Brown, CEO of Perth Airport to discuss the busy scenes that have already started in our airport.
"We are probably just over 80% of the passenger numbers we had pre-Covid for domestic and for international it is around 45%. So we are about half way there," Mr Brown said.
