The National Cabinet has met and agreed to change isolation requirements from seven days to five days. 

However, there are exceptions including those working in aged care, disability care and home care. 

The change will come into effect next Friday, the 9th of September. 

Nine's federal political editor Michael Pachi spoke with Oly on Perth Live about what was discussed in relation to the change, which will help workplaces struggling with staff shortages.
