The future of the Matilda Bay Brewery and the old Ford Factory in Fremantle will be decided tomorrow as plans to build multi story apartments are currently pending.

Fremantle Society President, John Dowson told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live that WA's Heritage Council takes too long in their assessment of buildings for state protection.

He believes that the long waiting time on these heritage buildings gives developers "a toe-in to ruin them."
