The Head of Intensive Care at Sir Charles Gairdner is calling on the state government to stick with the Feb 5 date. 


Doctor Luke Torre has started a petition that has received over 2,000 signatures from doctors and agrees that WA is in the best possible position to reopen.  


"Many of our vulnerable population have already had their 3rd booster jab because they were the ones first in line, it's the height of a hot, dry Summer. We are an obedient and compliant population at the moment and we have the weaker variant in Omicron." - Luke Torre told Perth Live.
