There's a campaign to lift restrictions on e-cigarettes but the AMA is fighting back.

WA AMA President Dr Omar Khorshid spoke to Oliver Peterson today to say they are worried about the success the big tobacco lobbyists are having in Federal Parliament on e-cigs. 

Dr Khorshid said, "they're (lobbyists) not too worried about long term health issues.

"We don't know that e-cigarettes are safe."
