The State Government has stepped in to approve an application to relocate The Ruah Centre for homeless support in Northbridge, from its home of 50+ years on Shenton Street, to a new site round the corner on James Street.

The move will make way for a purpose built Centre for Women and Children at its current site, despite facing objection from the City of Perth council.
