Organiser of Stop Armadale Train Line Closure Heath Indian has written to the Transport Minister, calling for the Armadale Line shut-down to be cancelled.

But today Rita Saffioti confirmed the proposed eighteen-month closure will go ahead next year as part of major Metronet upgrades.

Heath told Oly Peterson on Perth Live he's concerned about how many extra cars could be on the roads with up to 30-thousand people using the train line everyday.
