When Shawna wasn’t invited to the New Year’s Eve party her friends were going to, she felt unwanted. And the more she thought about what happened to her (not being invited) the more it became what she believed about herself (left out and unwanted).  We are not what’s been done to us. We are chosen!

Shawna and Perry shares stories of how they each recently hurt a dear friend. It’s a conversation about being secure enough in God’s love for us that we can own where we’ve hurt others and make it an opportunity to grow more like Jesus.

If you feel like your prayers are hitting the ceiling; those prayers you’ve prayed for maybe years and nothing’s changing. God wants you to know, “I hear you and keep on praying!”  

The other day Perry’s suffering friend said to him, “This place where I live wants to feel really dark.” And it just reflects the deep emotional pain that his friend suffers and how the enemy plays on his weakness. It makes Perry sad to see his friend suffer yet he still has hope. How?

There is a beautiful passion awakened in us when we see Jesus for who He is for the first time. We’re hungry to know Him more! And that fire burning in new believers fans the flame burning in seasoned believers, like me! Like YOU!
