If Paul were writing a letter to the American church today what would He say to us? Perry and Shawna share their thoughts. Perry’s first reaction? “Don’t make me come down there.”

In Perry’s sophomore year at Olivet College he was blindsided. Betrayed by a close friend. And now, Perry doesn’t have an ounce of animosity toward his friend. He shares what happened in between.

If there was a humility scale, I’m not sure where you’d land on it. But Shawna wants to grow in this area.  Humble people don’t feel entitled but grateful. And that makes them so easy to celebrate.

In our relationship with God, we learn to take our eyes off ourselves. And in being others focused, we become more like Jesus.

Then, when Perry’s kids were young he loved singing the blessing from the book of Numbers over his kids. And then years later in a full circle moment his son Taylor said, “Right back atcha dad!”
