Dan Seaborn, founder of Winning at Home, asks Perry & Shawna what their perfect day would look like. “Texts from the kids saying what great parents we are. Recording the perfect song.
The whole family getting along – even while playing a board game.” Basically – everything going the way we’d want it to. Because if everything is good than God must be good, right?
Isaiah 55:8-9 says that God’s thoughts are higher than ours and His ways are higher. Have you ever wondered what He thinks the perfect day would be?
Do you trust that His perfect day would be better than how you would want it to go?
When we’re struggling or suffering, from our perspective, it feels so wrong. But to be honest, those are the times we’re most likely to turn to God.
If we could see what He does, or know what He knows, His perfect day would so far exceed our own – even if it includes our suffering.
