As much as we’d love to believe we are in control of all things, much of life is unexpected. We didn’t see it coming. And maybe, that’s a gift!

From a cross country move to a senior year injury to an unexpected death, Vonna was overwhelmed by the “unexpecteds” of life. It wasn’t until later that she realized not knowing was a blessing in disguise.

Vonna Laue is a speaker and author of Glad I Didn’t Know: Lessons Learned Through Life’s Challenges and Unexpected Blessings.

Vonna admits, “If we knew the difficulties we would encounter, we might not be obedient, and we would miss out on what God has planned.”

When we relinquish control and just trust the Lord for each next step, He is faithful!
