Sometimes God lets you be a part of brining a little sliver of sunshine to an otherwise dark day. Shawna had a God encounter at Nordstrom Rack over the weekend. She was able to bless another and walked away blessed as well.

Perry admits, “Sometimes I wonder if the gospel is true. And it’s in those moments that I think about how the gospel has transformed the people closest to me.”

“The world has yet to see what God will do with a man fully consecrated to Him,” said preacher Henry Varley to DL Moody. Moody responded, “I will be that man.” I wonder what God could do through me & you if we fully surrendered to Him.

Paul says in Romans 6, “Count yourself dead to sin but alive to God in Christ.” He’s not saying, “Try harder!” He’s saying, “Rebelieve the gospel because that’s where the power is to kill sin!”

There have been times in Shawna’s life when she felt that people wanted to be close to her for what she could do for them and not for who she is.  And Perry admits, “I can sometimes be that person who’s trying to get from someone what I want!”
