The R202 is a new family of photoelectric sensors from Pepperl+Fuchs designed for the automotive, material handling, packaging, and entrance automation markets. Available in all basic sensing modes, the R202 family has been designed to be a reliable and easy-to-use photoelectric sensor family with features that customers need most. Unique to the R202 series are the retroreflective versions with foreground suppression, designed specifically for the packaging and material handling market and capable of detecting shrink-wrapped pallets without false trips. In addition, versions for AC supply voltages are available with housings that are among the smallest in the industry.
