Direct from the diverse dance floors of Melbourne and plugged in sideways to the PBS panel, local DJ Pjenné presents a rich and dynamic reflection of the local underground electronic music scene. Passing Notes explores all corners of the underground, feeling out the flow of a night out. From early evening soundscapes, synth and electronic oddities right through to the early morning, where dance floor confessions are revealed in the form of upbeat and percussive dance music. Passing Notes will be an ever-evolving journey into unorthodox sound, all whilst serving a gentle reminder to PBS listeners that dancing is the name of the game.

Penny will be joined by burgeoning local talents as well as international guests at the forefront of their craft. Expect inspiring guest mixes, live sets and interviews from selectors near and far.
