The Big Horn Basin is a vast, wide playground for people from all over the world, but especially here in Park County.  Whether you're new to the area or your family has lived here for generations, there are so many things to see and do that it's sometimes hard to figure out where the best places to hike, fish, ride, or explore on your own or with family in friends.

If you love exploring new places and seeing unbelievable sights, you may be overwhelmed by the possibilities.  

An avid hiker from Denver, Dave Leo moved to Cody a few years ago and realized that a lot of people who come to our neck of the woods really don't know where to go hiking in the Big Horn Basin.  That's why Dave started Hiking Buddy 307.  Taking his decades of experience and know-how about how to successfully hike into the wilderness, and more importantly, get back out in one piece, Dave specializes in making a custom hiking experience for all of his clients.  

Another service Hiking Buddy 307 offers is custom team-building exercises.  Recently, staff from Big Horn Basin Media came to Dave with a challenge: Can you take our employees onto a trailhead and help us enjoy a day of walking in the wilderness as well as providing a beneficial bonding experience.  

Dave came up with the trail, created a timeline and planned for how much water and food the participants would need.  

Logan Phillips from KCGL, said he enjoyed his the hike and couldn't believe they covered 4 miles in a beautiful part of Park County. "Dave was knowledgeable and patient dealing with a large group and everyone had a great time."

Brayden McCoy from KZMQ-FM praised Dave for his preparedness and "really enjoyed the experience."

Hiking Buddy 307 is open to hard-core hikers that want to cover a lot of miles to the novice hiker who wants to take great pictures and want a one-of-a-kind experience.  The choice is up to you.
