The Larrakia people of Darwin and the Dena'ina people of Alaska have endured parallel histories of colonisation and share with listening how they are working to get stronger and reclaim their identities, culture and land.

Parallel Hearts captures the shared experiences, challenges, aspirations and dreams of two First Nations peoples, the Larrakia people of Darwin, Australia and the Dena’ina people of Anchorage, Alaska. Darwin and Anchorage are Sister Cities, a program that fosters to promote cross-cultural understanding and build vibrant and connected communities, generating mutual benefits for both cities.
