Hour 2: The Gregs pivot to the San Francisco Giants and the newness that surrounds the organization beyond just the hire of Tony Vitello. They bring in Marty Lurie, who has already spent some time in Scottsdale getting to know a handful of the new coaches and players, and he shares his fondness for their center fielder Harrison Bader. Papa previously hosted his own show on KNBR from 2001-2003. Papa will host the weekday 10am-2pm time slot alongside Greg Silver. Upon joining the 49ers earlier this year, Papa became the first Bay Area broadcaster to have a role with five of the region’s major professional teams. He previously served as the voice of the Warriors (TV & radio – 1986-97), Giants (TV & radio – 2004-08), Oakland A’s (TV – 1990-2003) and Oakland Raiders (radio – 1997-2017). Papa currently hosts NBC Sports Bay Area’s San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors Pregame Live and Postgame Live shows.
