San Francisco Giants broadcaster and Hall of Famer Jon Miller joined Papa & Silver to recount one of the strangest half innings of baseball he called on Sunday. From emergency alerts in the stadium to an extremely bizarre triple play, Miller has taken the start of the Tony Vitello era in stride, and he's excited to return to Scottsdale this Friday when the Giants take on the Dodgers.

From emergency alerts in the stadium to an extremely bizarre triple play, Miller has taken the start of the Tony Vitello era in stride, and he's excited to return to Scottsdale this Friday when the Giants take on the Dodgers.</p>

Papa previously hosted his own show on KNBR from 2001-2003. Papa will host the weekday 10am-2pm time slot alongside Greg Silver. Upon joining the 49ers earlier this year, Papa became the first Bay Area broadcaster to have a role with five of the region’s major professional teams. He previously served as the voice of the Warriors (TV & radio – 1986-97), Giants (TV & radio – 2004-08), Oakland A’s (TV – 1990-2003) and Oakland Raiders (radio – 1997-2017). Papa currently hosts NBC Sports Bay Area’s San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors Pregame Live and Postgame Live shows.
