全国选区范围检讨委员会报告出炉，新加坡选区重新划分，国会议席总数从93个增至97个，选区从31个增至33个，其中包括15个单选区、八个四人集选区和10个五人集选区。为了更好地反映集选区的地理特征，五个新集选区中有四个采用组合名称，例如西海岸—裕廊西。截至2月1日，选民人数比2020年大选增加10万1791人。选区变化引发争议，有人认为是执政党为大选铺路，也有人称这是正常调整以反映人口变化。一个有趣的细节是淡滨尼尚育的EC42投票区仅有一名选民。

美国歌坛天后女神卡卡（Lady Gaga）确定将于5月在新加坡国家体育场举办四场演唱会，新加坡是演唱会唯一的亚洲站。演唱会消息发布后登上谷歌热搜榜，预计吸引20万观众，相关旅游收益可能高达2亿元。新加坡拿下亚洲独家主办权，有人质疑政府是否提供了津贴。文化、社区及青年部长兼律政部第二部长唐振辉在国会上回答询问时澄清，政府并没有为这次的演唱会提供任何拨款，这完全是商业安排。

3）文化通行证能买书？

新加坡政府推出文化通行证（SG Culture Pass），所有年满18岁的公民可获100元，用于观赏和参与符合条件的本地艺术和文化活动。计划将在稍后阶段，扩大到购买本地文学书籍。此举旨在鼓励民众参与文化活动，提升阅读风气，并支持本地文学发展。不过，文化通行证的有效性和潜在问题仍待观察。一些人担心它会成为套现工具，另一些人则认为关键在于培养民众长期参与文化活动的习惯。
