新加坡第三任总理李显龙宣布在明年 11月21日的人民行动党70周年党庆前，交棒给副总理兼财政部长黄循财，由他率领行动党出征下届大选。过去一周，新加坡大选日期和政治交接的时间表成为政治观察家和网民热议的话题。

2）为何蟒蛇不能杀，鳄鱼就要人道毁灭？

以“花园城市”闻名的新加坡不时迎来各种各样的野生动物，例如蛇、鳄鱼、野猪等。最近，新加坡发生两起和野生动物有关的事件。第一件是东海岸公园出现一条属于濒危物种的鳄鱼。国家公园局基于民众安全考量，设阱捕获这条鳄鱼并将它人道毁灭。

另一起事件则涉及一条闯入熟食中心的蟒蛇。一名摊贩担心蟒蛇伤害他人，上前尝试捕捉蟒蛇。最后不忍心看到蟒蛇奄奄一息挣扎，就举刀砍死蟒蛇，最后被罚款1000元。

3）400元婚宴红包，你觉得合理吗？

据报道，许多新加坡酒店岁末到明年的宴席涨价10%到20%。今年底约一半的周末午宴和晚宴，以一桌10人计算的话，每名宾客要价至少200元。一些五星级酒店如嘉佩乐（Capella）一桌最贵可达4053元。新加坡 “红包行情价”也因此水涨船高。
