1）李显扬申请拆除，李光耀故居去留快有定案？

新加坡建国总理李光耀次子李显扬10月15日在脸书贴文说，为了尊重并完成父母的遗愿，他将申请拆除欧思礼路38号故居。他随后在21日向市区重建局提出拆除申请。不过，国家文物局星期四（24日）宣布将研究李光耀欧思礼路38号故居是否具有值得保留的国家历史、文化和建筑价值，并向文化、社区及青年部长提呈建议。市区重建局因此延缓审核拆除申请。另一方面，李显扬近期获得英国政治庇护，声称遭新加坡政府迫害。新加坡政府回应说，李显扬的说法毫无根据，他和妻子没有面对法律约束，他们可以自由回返新加坡。

2）预购组屋销售申请两年来最多？

10月份预购组屋销售活动收到超过3万5000份申请创两年新高。本轮销售活动推出15个项目、8573个单位，并首次采用新组屋分类框架，允许35岁单身者申购全国任何地区的二房式组屋，而不再只限于非成熟组屋区的单位。单身者的购屋需求强劲，首次购屋单身者的申请占所有申请总数的两成。不过，年长者组屋出现冷热不均，分析师指面积、年龄限制、价格、地点及观感是主因。

美国总统选举进入最后冲刺阶段，哈里斯和特朗普支持率接近，双方在摇摆州展开激烈争夺。全球首富马斯克（Elon Musk）为共和党总统候选人特朗普站台助选时承诺，将在投票日之前每天送出100万美元（约131万新元）给选民，鼓励他们签署支持言论自由和拥枪权利的请愿书。马斯克被指变相“买票”，引发争议及司法部警告。
