英国凯特王妃在3月10日通过社交媒体平台晒出一张自己跟三个孩子的温馨合照。这也是凯特王妃在1月接受腹部手术后，首次公开发布消息。照片发布不久后，网民发现照片有修图的痕迹，多家国际媒体也宣布撤图。凯特王妃第二天再度发文为这张照片引起的混乱道歉。她从去年底一直没有公开露面，让不少人担心她的健康状况，甚至还爆出各种谣言和阴谋论。

一款号称能快速提神醒脑的 “鼻吸能量棒” (‘energy stick’ nasal inhaler) 在马来西亚和中国校园流行开来。能量棒的外形像打火机，里头有两根棒状的塑料管，据说只要吸入管中的樟脑、薄荷等清凉的气味，就能刺激鼻腔和大脑，起到快速提神醒脑、缓解疲劳的作用。商家称能量棒只使用纯天然成分、安全无害，但它是否真的无毒无害呢？鼻吸能量棒会不会让学生上瘾，影响他们的健康呢？新加坡当局正在密切关注鼻吸能量棒在新加坡的使用情况，并会采取必要措施保护公众的健康。

日本大师级漫画家鸟山明因急性硬脑膜外出血在3月1日去世，终年68岁。他的代表作《七龙珠》1984年开始在《周刊少年Jump》连载，单行本被翻译成多个语言，全球销量超过2亿5千万本，也改编成动画、电影和游戏等。除了漫画界，中国外交部、法国总统、成龙和周星驰等名人也为鸟山明的离世表示哀悼，可见他的影响力非常大。
