A Boynton Beach woman killed in a murder-suicide Friday night taught at Barton Elementary School in Lake Worth Beach, her family said Monday. Diane McCorry was a mother of three and a grandmother of four with a fifth on the way when she died at her home on Southwest 16th Street. Boynton Beach police have not publicly identified McCorry, but said her live-in boyfriend, John Pace, died in the fatal shooting. They have released few details on the incident except to say they are continuing to investigate. McCorry grew up in New England and taught in the Bahamas before coming to Palm Beach County. She and Pace had been a couple since early 2019, her family said. A member of Pace’s family declined comment.
