According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office A 59-year-old woman was struck and killed Thursday morning by a vehicle in suburban Boca Raton. Authorities say Blanka Bubenik was walking south on Cornwall Drive through the intersection of Century Village Boulevard shortly before 8:45 a.m. when a westbound Chevrolet SUV hit her. Bubenik, of suburban Boca Raton, died at the scene. The report does not indicate whether any charges are pending. Neither alcohol nor drugs were believed to have been a factor in the crash, according to the report.
