A 15-year-old from suburban West Palm Beach has been charged as an adult for his alleged role in an Aug. 10 shooting, State Attorney Office records show. Last week, the office filed paperwork to charge Tyquez Johnson as an adult on one count of attempted first-degree murder and one count of firing a gun in public. Johnson, who lives in the Lake Belvedere Estates neighborhood, was booked Tuesday morning into the Palm Beach County Jail’s Main Detention Center. It appears he initially faced charges in the county’s juvenile court system. It was not immediately clear where in Palm Beach County the shooting happened.
