The Kravis Center of the Performing Arts is proud to say that its subscriptions have gone up slightly each year. But they’re way up this year so far. And executives there think they know why. “It’s the ‘Hamilton’ effect,” said Linda Bryant Birdsey, director of marketing and public relations of the West Palm Beach theater, which welcomes Lin-Manuel Miranda’s history-bending musical epic January 28th through Feb. 16th. In fact, the Kravis announced their “Hamilton” dates a season early, in 2018, to peak interest in subscriptions. And it seems to have worked. Season subscriptions were 9,969 for the 2018-2019 season and increased to 11,000 this season. Sale dates for "Hamilton" tickets for non-subscribers have not yet been announced.
