A family-favorite Halloween event returns this year with a new twist thanks to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Spookyville is back at the South Florida Fairgrounds on Southern Boulevard — but this year's event is a drive-thru with attendees asked to remain in their vehicles. The event, which is being called an "interactive drive-thru trick-or-treating experience" by organizers, begins today and runs through Halloween. The hours are 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday through Saturday with gates closing at 9:30 p.m., and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday with gates closing at 8:30 p.m.
