For Diana Lewis, being a Palm Beach County Circuit Court judge was her dream job.One of longtime Florida Sen. Phil Lewis’ nine children, she said she learned at a young age the importance of public service and longed to use her legal training to help her hometown of West Palm Beach. Lewis, who served on the bench from 2002 until 2015, died Tuesday at St. Mary’s Medical Center from complications of a stroke. She was 68. Lewis was known for her intelligence, her work ethic, her community service, and her devotion to her Catholic faith, said former Circuit Judge Jeffrey Colbath.
