A West Palm Beach man has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in a September 2018 crash on Northlake Boulevard. Circuit Judge Scott Suskauer (Suss-COW-er) sentenced Casey Cunniff to four years in state prison for the crash that killed Ramson Lester Ramos Jr. Investigators said Cunniff’s blood-alcohol level was more than three times the state’s threshold for intoxication when his sedan hit Ramos’ motorcycle west of the Beeline Highway. Cunniff also must attend a victims panel, where people whose lives were hurt by DUI crashes will tell him about their losses.
