The Loggerhead Marinelife Center remains on course to open its new, larger campus in 2021. The Juno Beach complex will be able to handle 45 injured sea turtles, about twice as many as it can now. It also will have a bigger research facility and more space to help teach area residents about the ocean environment. The center had become one of Palm Beach County’s most popular attractions prior to the coronavirus pandemic, welcoming more than 350,000 guests per year to its campus on U.S. 1 near Donald Ross Road.
