The scion of the Napleton auto dealership chain has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge to settle a August 2018 rape case brought against him in Palm Beach County. Ed Napleton Jr. Offered a best-interest plea to felony battery in the matter, and Circuit Judge Scott Suskauer (Suss-COW-er) withheld adjudication, meaning Napleton won’t have a felony conviction if he completes his probation, set to run for five years. The incident took place at the West Palm Beach Marriott hotel. Napleton also faces a civil lawsuit filed by the woman, who trained employees for the car dealership chain.
